It's almost New Years Eve where I live and I decided to make this journal to reflect back on this year and what I want to achieve next year.

Oh boy. 2016 went by really fast however it was crazy and dramatic. There were many weeks where I was stressed out due to workload, I Watched a lot of drama unfold and I ended up going on a few trips this summer which I did enjoy quite a lot. Life was definitely a lot busier this year compared to last year.

When I look back at all the artwork I've done this year, I'd say that I've definitely improved a lot with my art. I made my lineart slightly thicker and smoother, I went through a style change and animations have gotten way better especially when I got TV Paint. When comparing how much I've improved this to last year, my art this year hasn't improved as much but I still have improved a lot.

Now I normally don't make New Year's resolutions since I never stick with them however, every year my main resolution is to improve my art and animations which I know that in 2017 will happen like it does every year. In 2017, I want to try and focus on getting better at drawing backgrounds because as you can tell, I'm terrible at them and I want to get better at them. I might also try to get better at painting since it's something that I would love to be really good at and I always love how paintings look afterwards.

2016 is definitely not my favourite year and I enjoyed 2015 a lot more and I hope that 2017 will be a lot better. I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and I can't wait to see what 2017 brings us.
